You Have to Have a Dream For a Dream to Come True

The famous Walt Disney used to close all of his broadcasts with the saying, “You have to have a dream for a dream to come true.” He is also quoted as saying, “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.” What is your dream? Many people wish that they had a genie in a bottle that would answer any 3 wishes that they had but in reality would not know what to ask him if they found the lamp. Well, besides the obvious things such as freedom of debt, a million dollar s, wife or a husband, dream job or business or many of the other things dealing with the American dream.

In truth God gave you this magical genie in a lamp, only the lamp is your head and the genie is your mind. The Law of Attraction is a law just like that of gravity. If you throw something off of a building it will always go down, likewise if you hold to a certain belief you will eventually get the thing believed for. Unlike the genie, what you believe does not happen instantly (there are exceptions to this rule) but for that you should be thankful. Why? Have you ever been in a sour mood and you wished that someone would permanently leave your life, only to be in a different mood several days later and be ever so thankful that they did not leave? Or have you ever thought to yourself, “I hate my job. I want to leave today,” only to be thankful for the money and opportunity that your job has provided you?

God uses time as a safety net to ensure that you really want what you say that you want. But, as you become closer to God, His desires become your desires and you will start to notice a quicker turn around in the manifestation period because you are operating in the spiritual and not the natural. For example Jesus was able to manifest enough food to immediately feed 5,000 people from 2 pieces of fish and a loaf of bread whereas I remember needed money for groceries several years ago and God provided but it was not until about 3 days later when I got paid.

I have found that the quickest way to manifest what you need in your life is to develop a more intimate walk with God, who will then impress a feeling on your heart. When God speaks to you, you will know because it will be so obvious. Despite popular belief He is not trying to trick you, He wants you to know what He wants for your life. When He speaks to you write down what He said and then follow the path of peace towards that dream. What desires do you have for you life now that have not gone away with the years? Write it down and trust that God will lead you down the pathway to accomplish that dream. Because after all, “you have to have a dream for a dream to come true.”
