What is the meaning of leisure? In Webster dictionary leisure is defined as “free time” and “the use of free time for enjoyment.” But, more importantly how do you has an individual carve out that free time in your day? week? or year?
Here are 3 tips on how to relax on a yearly, weekly and daily basis.
Annual Vacations: Go to the beach, visit the mountains, swap houses with a friend out of state or better yet out of country. If you plan far enough ahead you can afford a week vacation and your return on investment will blow your mind.
Weekly Vacations: Pick a day that you do not have to go to church, do work, chores, or anything else labor related and just relax. Do the things that you want to do. Sleep until noon, watch 3 movies in row, go to the park with your kids, or just lay in bed all day. But, just relax!
Daily Vacations: Pick an hour a day preferably in the evenings and just veg out. Watch television, read a book, sit out on the deck and look at the stars, play video games with your son, or eat a bag of chips (just do not do that every night)
