What is a pathological lier? This is someone who compulsively lies about situations, people and things. Personally, I feel like lying is rooted in self-esteem issues. Why do I say that? The reason why most of us lie is because we want to portray what we think someone will like. If you were really confident in yourself, your belief and in your actions there would be no need to lie. The average person only lies when he or she has done something bad or they are ashamed to tell the truth. But a pathological liar is someone who may have began like that but has lied so much, and so often that he or she cannot tell the truth from fiction. In other words they believe their own story. In fact, their belief is so great that they can pass a lie detector test.
Believe in you and there will be no reason to tell little white lies or the big cover up ones.
