There is a saying in the modeling industry that goes, “Sex sells.” Sex isn’t the only thing that sells but if your business has sex appeal then you will find yourself in a lot better shape. Do you have a sexy advertising campaign?

1. Internet – The Internet is here to stay and as of right now is the biggest advertising vehicle that has ever been created. Through the usage of mediums such as Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, live streaming and various blog sites you can freely market your company to millions of people.

2. Piggyback – Companies like Kroger are selling the back of their receipt as an advertising vehicle for businesses to piggyback on their popularity. This method is not a new one however, it has evolved greatly and can be applied everywhere from the elections and NFL to local events and movies. Your only limitation is your mind.

3. Promotional Teams – Feed up with the sporadic results of high cost media many company are going grass roots in a type of guerrilla marketing where they hire individuals to stand with shaker boards, put on crazy costumes and hand out promotional items to get the word out. This method is less expensive and can create some rapid excitement.

4. Giveaways – The best way to advertise in a highly saturated market is to give something away. The principle of sowing and reaping is the more you give, the more you get. But, you have to up the ante if you want to get their attention. I have a saying that I live by, “Go BIG or go home!”

5. Media – Will television, radio and billboard advertising ever go away? Nope. My only suggest is this, if you are a small company with a limited budget do not advertise on the radio and television. Go more the billboard route because you want something with lasting power. Compare a 15 second commercial with a billboard on a major roadway that stays up 24hrs a day.
