“The Richest Man in Babylon,” written by George Clason, is a compilation of short stories dealing with money management and wealth creation that were found from ancient Babylon.Found in some rubble were ancient scrolls from the Babylonian time period and when translated were found to be ancient forms of our modern day personal development books. “The Richest Man in Babylon,” will teach you how to get out of debt regardless of how much you have accumulated, pay yourself first, and how to create wealth untold.
The aspect that I enjoyed so much about this book was that the stories are about average people who desired to live a life that was far from average. I am blown away that the translators responsible for text applied these principles of ancient Babylon wealth creation and found them to be just as powerful today as they were 2,000 years ago. The Richest Man in Babylon is a must read and since it has only sold millions of copies I think that it is safe to say that I am not alone in my appraisal.
