As American’s we have the benefit of having peace of mind. We do not have to worry about bread on the shelves of stores, protection from thousands of people looking to hunt us down because of our race, beliefs, or what we said last week. We are a free nation and we alone determine the heights that we rise to or the depths that we sink.
Possibly our future President of the United States was raised in a low-income household and was raised by a single parent. Obama, who is a minority, focused not on the circumstances that surrounded him but focused on where he desired to go. Overcoming great obstacles he put himself through Harvard Law School and is now running for the President of the United States. Now I do not care if you are a Democrat or Republican that is an amazing story.
If he did that, and there are so many more stories like his, what could you do? This is one man who pursued his purpose by following his heart and the outcome is success regardless if he gets elected or not.
