New Jersey Nets Marketing Strategy

So the New Jersey Nets have a new interesting marketing strategy…losing.

No, really they are running a marketing campaign right now to capitalize on theirĀ  0-10 record. The Nets marketing lingo goes, “10 is Enough” promotion. The New Jersey Nets are selling a bunch of tickets to the general public for 10 bucks and they are also giving season ticket holders 2 free tickets for Tuesday’s game.

10 is Enough

In a recent press release regarding the “10 is Enough” promotion Nets CEO Brett Yormark released this statement,

“Your team has played very hard this season, but with an unprecedented amount of injuries we just haven’t been able to attain a victory, but even with the injuries, the entire team believes that ’10 is Enough.’ That’s why we are asking you, our loyal fans, to rally around your team like never before at Tuesday night’s game.”

I like their strategy. Its fun and the Nets marketing strategy is gaining moment. Hey, after all here I am in no where USA (i.e. Belpre, OH) visiting my parents and I heard about the marketing ploy.

Can you light heartedly poke fun at your business for the greater success of your organization?
