Many people struggle with negative thoughts when they hear God’s truth. So give yourself a break. Negative thoughts do not necessarily mean that you have ought with God. Often times the reason why people have negative thoughts towards the Bible, God’s word, is because they do not trust the messenger, or a pastor or Christian that hurt them in the past therefore they have walls around their heart for protection.
So how do you get over that? You have to realize that God is not defined by His people meaning if they misguide you that does not mean God’s desire is that you be misguided. He really is a good daddy. I promise.
