What you need to do is be thankful for the life that you got.
You know what I’m sayin’.
Stop lookin’ at what you ain’t got
and start bein’ thankful for what you do got.
So many of us look at what we do not have and get mad. We lash out at our circumstances, God, and others because of our own dissatisfaction that is brought on by what others have and what we have failed to accumulate. I know this because I suffer from the same disease. We compare others strengths to our weaknesses.
Yet, we have to understand that when we do this comparison it puts us in a negative state of mind which causes us to attract more negativity. Conversely, if we are positive we will attract more positive things in our life. Have you ever wondered why on good days things just keep getting better and better and how days that suck bring on more events that make it suck more? Positive attracts positive and negative attracts negative.
The hip hop industry is not always known for being the most positive yet these individuals were able to see past their often time, troubled circumstances and rise to stardom. I say though they may not be doing everything right, they sure could teach you and I a thing or two about pursuing our purpose passionately until achievement. So live your life ay ay ay, passionately and on purpose!
