4 key points to motivation

There are 4 key points to motivation that need to be remembered when working in any organization.

1. Everyone is different – Not everyone is motivated by the same factors. There are 4 different personality types and the motivating factors behind each personality are different. First discover your staff’s personality and then you be able to inspire them better.
2. Consistency – Nothing will deflate enthusiasm within an organization faster than a double standard. Don’t play favorites even in the little things that you think no one notices…because they do.
3. Sincerity – Let everything that you do be done out of a sincere heart. Whether people ever tell you or not they can feel when you have ulterior motives, can’t you?
4. Purpose – When someone does not understand their value to an organization they will not see themselves as valuable. Instill value and that person will become an employee of value.
