The Hugh Hefner House, aka Playboy Mansion, will go down in the history books as one of the most famous homes on the planet. The creator of Playboy Magazine is reportedly worth $82.29 million as of November 2008. Hugh Hefner began Playboy when he was denied a $5 dollar raise. From 45 investors, including his mother who put up $1,000, Hefner raised $8,000 to launch Playboy in December of 1953 featuring none other than Marilyn Monroe. And as these pictures of Hugh’s home show business is still doing alright.
