How to Optimize Your Linkedin Account

So for the most part I find Linkedin…well, boring. Sure you need to have it because its a great way to connect and contact individuals on a personal basis but outside of that I do not go on there. However, I feel like they made some good steps by allowing you to integrate your Tweets into your Linkedin status updates.

Previously, I had to connect my Tweets to my Linkedin by going to Ping.fm (if you don’t know about Ping.fm check it out) and leaving a comment which would then update my Linkedin, Twitter, Myspace (don’t go on there either) and about 20 others sites. But, now I don’t have to go to Ping.fm as much…I can and now you can go straight to Twitter.

Go to your Linkedin account and then go to the Applications Tab on the left side bar find the Twitter App and then connect. Its pretty easy.

Oh, and while you are in there you might as well connect your WordPress Blog through the WordPress Application if you have not done so. This way when potential clients of yours are checking out your profile then they can stumble upon some of your articles.
