How much money does a financial planner make? Out of all of the jobs I believe that I like this one the best. Why? Because you not only get to help people in one of the most important areas of their lives but you determine your own salary and then get residual income on all of the accounts that you close.
Financial planning takes a lot of work up front, like everything beneficial. You will initial do more than you are paid to do, however, the pendulum will eventually swing and then you will get paid for more than what you do. Ask financial advisor who has been in the industry a while and they will all tell you the same thing.
The actual pay will vary upon the organization that you are with but the company with whom I am familiar there were individuals in there making $500,000 per year and that is if they did not get out of bed for that entire year. Good luck.
