Yesterday was my birthday, November 18, and I spent the day in relaxation. First I had an audition for a catalogue gig, I will let you know in a couple of days if I got it or not, and then as a morning treat I helped myself to Waffle House. I am not sure but you find some of the most interesting people inside of that place. O.k. so there was this guy who completely blew up…I mean was yelling in Atlanta fashion calling everybody “Shorty,” all because the waitresses did not clean the tables off fast enough. I mean it is Waffle House you almost expect it to be dirty.
Then I drove out of town where I was treated to a movie, Eagle Eye, which I thought was very good and had a lot of parallels to what a relationship with God is like, popcorn and soda. But, then still hungry we went to get a bite to eat at Chili’s. But then…somebody say, “but then,” I went to get my first massage. I was so relaxed I think slobber was running out of my mouth. (Not really but I was going for a visual effect.)
And then I was set up with a surprise birthday party and I must say that it was really a great day. Thank you to everyone who sent me messages, cards, and gifts on my 27th birthday.
