Most people do not go to God because they feel like He is mad at them because of some wrongdoing. That could not be further from the truth. I understand that sometimes Christians give God a bad wrap but really He is not as up tight as we are.
The Bible describes God as the perfect Father and goes onto say if you being evil know how to give good gifts to your children how much more will God, the perfect Father, give you the Holy Spirit when you ask? The significance of the Holy Spirit is that He will lead you into all truth and understanding. Think of Him like this: if life is a video game, He would be the cheat sheet.
Let’s continue to run with this analogy of God being the perfect Father for a minute. Think about the comparison. You created your children, God created you. You make sacrifices for your children, God made a sacrifice for you. You disciple your children (or at least you should), and God disciplines you. Get the picture? The reason why you love your children so much is because when you look at them you see yourself for they are part of you. God is no different.
Now think about the last time one of your children did something wrong and made you mad, hurt and/or disappointed. Did you cut them off and say provide for yourself because you are no longer my son and I am no longer your father? Of course not. If you being evil (meaning not perfect) know how to forgive and love your children even when they do not ask for your forgiveness how much more will a perfect Father?
God isn’t mad at you, He is mad about you. You are an individualized expression of a perfect God. Perfection does not make mistakes therefore you are no accident. He knew that you and I would mess up…and sometimes royally, so He made provision in advance. Your shortcoming does not make God nervous or frustrated. You have heard preachers say that sin separates you from God, and I add to that by saying that sin does not separate God from you, but you from God. Meaning when you sin you do not feel like God will accept you or that He is mad at you so you do not go to Him. When you do that you separate yourself from God. Again, think about when your child does something wrong and then comes and tells you about what they did. Do you reject them or receive them? If you being evil know how to give good gifts how much more does the perfect Father, whom you belong.
In short, God is not as petty as we are. So come home to Papa and He will show you what I am talking about much better than I can articulate.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. It’s very fulfilling to me when I get feedback like yours
I think what did separate us from our father is our flesh and soul are one when we commit the first sin. Obviously, Its our body and soul together with its free will that is weak from earthly matters it was the one who was tempted in the garden because of its free will. and our spirit the breathe of GOD which is the opposite of our body has the capability to resist temptation if we can only open our selves to the light of the holy spirit then our body and soul will find its way back to the father. the spirit is the guide to darkness and we are all created special.
