Around this time of year many people start to wonder what the first thanksgiving was like in the Americas, and from a business prospective I can tell you that there was no employees. America was founded on entrepreneurism and Thanksgiving is a prime example of the journey that many business owners face. When you first begin the journey in your business, open its doors and get your first customers everyone has a huge smile on their face and the atmosphere is one of optimism.
However, the days come when the economy is not right, people are not buying like they used to and you are not sure how to earn the money in your new industry, or in the case of the first settlers grow the food in your new country.
Therefore, you seek others advice, funds etc just like the pilgrams did the Indians and with a little luck, a lot of hard work, and with the experience of some hardships you make to the road of success. The first settlers were driven by the desire for a better life and similarly they went through the trials of a start up company.
