“Free your mind and your a#* will follow,” is probably one of the best known lyrics ever sung. These lyrics not only apply to life but specifically to marketing. Marketing is all about creativity. And creativity can only come when you come outside of yourself. Over the past six months I have started going on a walk before I went to bed. Not, an exercise walk but simply a walk just to clear my head, pray and take in the creativity of God.
My walks range from 2 in the morning, 6 in the morning and sometimes 8 at night (yes I keep random hours…goes with my personality) but always I am able to see something in God’s creation that is outside of the box. I have come to the realization that God’s creativity is not limited therefore, neither are the ideas that you and I possess. I have come to the realization the none of God’s creations can be placed inside a box, therefore you cannot place boundaries on yourself or your dreams.
I have realized that God has created birds with wings that can fly but that God has also created birds with wings that can’t. I have learned that God has created animals without wings that can fly and that he has also created fish of the sea with wings that can only swim. God has created plants that eat flesh and animals that eat plants.
There are no limitations.
Above is a fish with a transparent head. There was recently discovered a frog with no lungs and a Dragon Millipede is able to shoot cyanide.
There are no limits.
You may be facing financial problems in your business right now but there are no limits to the amount of solutions that you can come up with. Our problem is that we do not take time away from life to enjoy the creativity of God and the beauty of nature around us therefore we are limited, even though we have no limitations.
