Some business owners have been asking me if I have heard any negative comments from customers about Suntrust Bank. I had a personal Suntrust checking account and business account that I ended up switching because I did not understand all of the charges. It seemed like I had a lot of fees therefore, I switched my business account first over to Wachovia, who let our secretary forge a check for $10,000 (that I never saw again) so then I transferred over my funds to Bank of America, which I have been very happy with ever since. But, maybe I am just high maintenance?
This site is based around positive attitudes but at times you need to look at things with skepticism therefore if you have a negative or positive comment about Suntrust Bank please leave a comment below.
But, before you decide on a bank for your business make sure that you have a budget in place to responsibly track all of your finances. To create a business budget begin by listing all of your expenses including your salary, and then list what your monthly projections need to be. Put the numbers in an excel spreadsheet and then track both your expenses and income to make sure that you are making budget.

The thing that I like least about Suntrust is their online banking and bill pay. If I remember correctly they do not even have bill pay, or at least they didn’t 2 years ago. Anyway, I switched to Bank of America and really like their customer service and obviously their online services.
