What factors are critical to the success of your plan? We all want to be a success, that is no secret. Though success means different toys, income or lifestyle to different people we all have an image of how we want our life to turn out. In this article you are going to learn 5 steps that are critical to the success of your plan.
- Have a Plan- As crazy as it sounds you need to have a plan before you can experiene success. The plan needs to be written down, and well thought out. A plan is not a plan if it is in your head. Think through what you are trying to do. Are you trying to lose weight? Then ask yourself: How much? What am I going to eat? When am I going to excercise? How am I going to resist the temptation to give up? Think through the tough questions concerning your business, your goals and your relationships to see what you have to do to get to the success that you desire.
- Follow Your Plan – Following your plan is not as easy as writing one down. When you are writing down your plan everything is theory and void of emotion or should I say opposition. Yet, when you start acting out your plan you have to face obstacles like fatigue, failure, friends, finances and foes. This is why your plan is important because if it is not written down you will forget what you thought through when opposition attacks and you will be like a car with no GPS. A short pencil is better than a long memory and will help you stay on course.
- Track Your Progress – You cannot always see the progress that you are making therefore you need to devise a way where you can always track your progress so you can measure your success. If you are planning for the success of your business track how many customers walk through the door, how many sales transactions (not money earned) were made, website visits etc. This will help you overcome discouragement and see progress even when you do not feel like your business is moving forward. Tracking your progress from many different angles will help you always see positive inside of your present situation.
- Hang Around Like Minded People – Surround yourself with people who will encourage you in your journey of success. Many of your friends, family or even the person who you are in a relationship with now will not understand the journey that God is taking you through however find someone who does and then cling tight to he or she as you venture through the process of success.
- Be Flexible – Do not fall in love with your plan. Fall in love with the process. Always remember that blessed are the flexible for they shall be flexed.
Life is fickle. Things change but as the situations in your life change so does the plan however the goal remains the same. Follow these five steps to enjoy the success of your plan.
