Kodak came out with a publication on the 2009 You Tube Statistics so I thought that I would share.
- YouTube will serve 75 billion video streams to 375 million unique visitors in 2009.
- Every minute, ten hours of video is uploaded to You Tube.
- User base is broad in age range, 18 – 55, evenly divided between males and females, and spanning all geographies.
- Fifty-one percent of users go to YouTube weekly or more often

- 35% have purchased something on Youtube that they have seen advertised on YouTube
Now, creating videos does take more time and is more complex than posting a blog but where there is more effort required there is less competition. As the saying goes, “There is never a traffic jam on the extra mile.”
